The terms that apply to your order.
Last updated: October 2026
These terms apply to orders placed on londonracketlab.com. You are buying from London Racket Lab, a small business in the United Kingdom. We have no public shop or office, so please contact us by email — see our contact page. We are not affiliated with, or endorsed by, any racket brand; brand names are used only to show which rackets our Trapdoors fit.
A Trapdoor is a removable end cap for the base of a tennis racket handle, made to order in the UK to your chosen racket, colours and design. Colours on screen are approximate and shades may vary slightly. A Trapdoor is a small part: keep it away from young children.
Standard: you configure and pay online. Your contract with us begins when we accept your order by email or start making it.
Premium: you send a request first. We review your design and, if we can make it, reply with a payment link. The contract begins when you pay.
We may decline a design that infringes someone else’s rights or is unlawful or offensive, and we will refund anything already paid for it. Please check your racket model carefully before ordering.
Prices are in pounds sterling (GBP). All prices include VAT where applicable. Payment is taken by Stripe. UK delivery is a flat £4.95, tracked, and shown before you pay. We ship to the UK only.
Orders are made to order and usually dispatched within 3–5 working days (Premium: from design approval and payment). If we expect a delay we will tell you, and we will deliver within 30 days unless we agree otherwise with you. Risk passes to you on delivery.
Because every Trapdoor is made to your specification, the 14-day change-of-mind cancellation right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 does not apply once we have started making it. Our fit guarantee is in addition to your legal rights: if it doesn’t fit, we replace it free of charge.
Your statutory rights are not affected. If goods are faulty, not as described or not of satisfactory quality, you are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
If you give us an image, logo or text, you confirm that you own it or have permission to use it for making your order. You keep your rights in it; you allow us to use it only to make and support your order.
We do not accept designs that copy other people’s brands or artwork without permission, so we may ask for proof of permission.
Products shown as “coming soon” (such as the Swing Trainer and Toss Trainer) are not yet for sale. Leaving your email is not an order and creates no obligation on either side.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or your statutory rights. Otherwise we are responsible for foreseeable loss caused by our breach, and not for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable or for business losses, as the site is for personal use.
Please contact us first on london.racket.lab@gmail.com and we will try to resolve it quickly; Citizens Advice can also give free guidance. We may update these terms; the version in force when you order applies to your order. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales (if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also use your local courts). See our Privacy Policy for how we use your data.
